These frequently asked questions might help

    What is a drum circle?

Traditionally, a drum circle is defined as an interactive and improvisational musical gathering in which participants enjoy playing together as a way to reduce stress, build community, and have fun. Although community drum circles can be hosted and facilitated, they are generally leaderless, and all participants contribute to the sound at a level in which they are comfortable.

    What is a group drumming?

Group drumming is another word to describe recreational music-making that is improvisational and interactive. Since most of our programming is structured more than a traditional community drum circle, we think group drumming is a better fit for us. But overall these terms are basically interchangeable.

    I'm not musical, I'm a little nervous?

It’s totally normal to feel nervous or intimidated before trying something new, especially learning a new instrument. But trust us! Drumming and music are universal and before you know it, you’ll be smiling and drumming along.

    I lied! I'm really nervous?!

We got you! We’ve done thousands of sessions, and have helped countless people overcome this. We make it easy and before you know it you’ll be drumming along with everyone else!

Where are the group rates on the website?

Since we provide all the equipment needed to make your program or event extra special, we need to make sure we’ve got the details of your situation before we offer you a quote! The fastest way to do this is to get in touch and schedule a call!

    Do you work with children?

Absolutely! We’ve drummed with many kids over the years. We know what programs work with each age group and will communicate a successful plan of action for your group!

We have a big group, how many drums do you have?

We have a lot of drums! Hundreds actually! We are connected with industry partners and can borrow more equipment, and co-facilitators if needed!

How will I know if my group will enjoy drumming?

A great question! We know it can be intimidating to try something new but, we’re experts! We will create a space that allows your group to freely express themselves, have fun, and leave feeling ecstatic.
